Macedonia Middle School thanks the community for its support of the recent fundraiser carnival.
MMS would like to thank the following for their support and/or donations: Mr. Merlin Williams, Mr. Eddie Brown of  St. Stephens IGA, Moncks Corner Piggly Wiggly,  Russell's Funeral Home, Widener Port A Johns, Mr. Don Robbins, Junior and Bill Gaskins, Mr. Elbert Howard, Moncks Corner Bi-Lo, Mr. and Mrs. Housen, Ms. Durant, Mr. and Mrs. Mitchum and the Handy- Mart in Macedonia, the faculty and staff at MMS, community members, students and parents who attended.
The money that was raised from this year's carnival will be used to buy technology for the classrooms.
 
Bonner Ceremony
 
Bonner Elementary School’s "Crossing the Ditch" ceremony for fifth graders will be Thursday, May 30 at 8:30 a.m.
 
Providence Baptist
 
The Ladies Zumba fitness and toning class is held on Tuesday and Thursday from 6 to 7 p.m. at Providence Baptist Church. The ladies in the community are invited to join them.
Youth will be attending "Beach Blast! Christian Music Festival" on the Grand Strand on May 18. Toby Mac returns to the Beach Blast Christian Music Festival this year along with Christian singing groups, Tenth Avenue North, Building 429 and Jamie Grace, emcee Bone Hampton, and speaker Matthew West.
