Ransford R. Crank

Ransford Roland Crank of Johns Island, a retired Navy master diver and a retired foreman for the Charleston Naval Shipyard, died Tuesday evening, April 16, 2013 at his residence. He was 78.
Surviving are his wife, Audry Payne Crank; a daughter, Kim Tschappat and her husband, Mel, of Charleston; three sons, Raymond L. Crank and his wife, Erlene, of Summerville, Mark A. Crank and his wife, Jennifer, of Charleston, and Troy A. Crank and his wife, Lisa, of Summerville; a sister, Barbara Ann Schultz of Seattle, WA; six grandchildren; a great-grandchild and another on the way.
