Boy Scouts Troop 79
BSA Troop 79 scouts will hold their 12th annual barbeque dinner fundraiser on Saturday, April 13 from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.
The dinner will feature grilled chickens, pork barbecue, green beans, potatoes and roll for a cost of $7. Dine in or carry out will be offered. The fundraiser will be held at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 1157 Sam Rittenburg Blvd., next to Kickin’ Chicken and across from S&S Cafeteria.
The event is sponsored by Doschers Food Stores and friends and family of Troop 79. For advance dinner tickets call Philip or Tyler at 457-7630 or drop in the day of fundraiser.
The St. Stephen Community History Room and Café will be open on Thursday, April 11 from 11a.m. until 1:30 p.m. The menu will consist of baked ham, potato salad, garden peas, roll and dessert.
The cost of lunch is $7. Dine in or take out plates available.
The community café is located on Bay Street, inside of the St. Stephen History Room, and managed by local volunteers. Support from the public is greatly appreciated.
