Where one sits in a car or on the bus has long been an issue. Some people want to sit in the front seat, some people want the back seat and some middle school kids have claimed stake to certain seats on their school bus. In fact, according to a police report, one girl got extremely mad at another student for “sitting in her seat.” Now there are no assigned seats on this but, and at the end of the day, who cares where you sit? But the girls got into an argument because one wouldn’t move.
Then on the way home from school, the seating arrangement repeated itself. But this time, the girl who staked claim to the special seat originally, jumped over the girl in question and tried to shove her out of the seat entirely. This led to a shoving match. Both girls then had to go to see the principal and were punished for poor behavior.
