Winter Wolf

  • Wednesday, April 3, 2013

Boulder Bluff Elementary School fifth grader Victoria Sumner’s “Winter Wolf” painting was on exhibit at the Columbia Museum of Art during the museum’s “Impressions of Youth” exhibit in celebration of March Youth Art Month. Victoria completed her impressionistic style painting under the guidance of Visual Art Teacher Carolyn Mullinax. The art program at Boulder Bluff is sponsored in part by the ABC Grant and the South Carolina Arts Commission. Victoria and Mullinax, who are pictured above, recently spent the day together at the museum. “It is awesome to see original impressionist style paintings and to see my artwork in the same museum,” Victoria said.
