Mount Pleasant Artists Guild held an exhibition at the Arts Festival at Town Center, Mount Pleasant on Saturday, March 16. Artwork that won awards at the juried art show were “Endless,” oil by Faye Sullivan, first place; “Wisteria,” acrylic by Ellen Faulkner, second place; “Walk With Me,” pastel by Judith Chamberlin, third place; “Roses are Red” by Becky Taylor for the Roberta Smith Watterson Watercolor Award; and “Ali,” oil by Lynn Salkeld for People’s Choice Award,
Artwork granted Honorable Mention Awards are “Garndma’s Backyard,” acrylic by Gayle Gilford; For Rent,” oil by Deb Palmer; “Suzanne,” oil by Kat S. Eckel; “Nemis,” photo by Susanne Frenzel; “Red,” copper by Randall J. Routson; and “Lavender Farm,” watercolor by Becky Taylor.
