MMS student leaves them spellbound

Congratulations to Gabe Wadford, a student at Macedonia Middle School whois one of the top 13 spellers in Berkeley County.
Gabe competed in the Regional Spelling Bee at Charleston Southern University on March 6. This is a big accomplishment, and everyone is proud of him.

Church News

Oak Grove PH Church Men's Ministries will host its annual Wild Game Banquet on March 22 at 6 p.m. All men are invited to attend.

Day for Children

Bethel Baptist Church, in partnership with other local churches, will present a fun filled day for children on May 18 from 9 to 11 a.m. at the small picnic shelter at the Bonneau Park.
The event is for children first through sixth grade. All church denominations are welcome to attend.
The day will include games, Bible study, snacks and more.
A planning meeting is set for March 25 at McDonald’s in Moncks Corner at 4:30 p.m. to go over the plans and what each church can do to help.

Victory Baptist Events

Victory Baptist’s Easter Egg Hunt is set for Saturday, March 23 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. They will be having games, bake sales, and egg hunts. Please bring a new or gently used book to donate to the Roscoe Reading Program.
Josh and Ashley Franks will be at Victory on Sunday, March 24 at 7 p.m. Everyone is welcome.
The church’s Easter Sunrise Service will take place at 7 a.m. on March 31. All other services are as normal.
