Northwoods Mall will be hosting, “Farm to Table” markets Saturday’s during March from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in front of JCPenney inside the mall. “While it might be too cold for the outdoors farmer’s markets right now, you don’t have to miss your favorite seasonal goodies while you wait for the warmer weather.” said Keli Tolley, assistant general manager of Northwoods Mall. “We wanted to create an atmosphere where shoppers could go out for their shopping at the mall and also have the opportunity to pick up farmers’ market specialty items, without having to be outside in the chilly and sometimes dreary weather and thus the “Farm to Table” concept was created.” said Tolley.
Locally made items will be available from your favorite local specialty vendors including, 78 and Sunny Food Co-op, Carolinas Harvest, King of Pops, Southern Comfort BBQ Sauce, Dale’s Lowcountry Cuisine, Lowcountry Olive Oil and Rina’s Kitchen, Mike’s Peanuts and fresh produce from Joseph Fields Farm. Specialty items from participating vendors include BBQ sauce, honey, jams, jellies, salsas, various cobblers and flavor infused olive oils, boiled peanuts and fresh produce. For more information, please visit the mall website at ShopNorthwoodsMall.com or visit mall officials at the “Farm to Table” market going on now through March 30 each Saturday.
