Crash claims Ridgeville man

A Saturday morning car crash claimed the life of a Ridgeville man.
According to the Berkeley County Coroner’s Office, 34-year-old Keith Richardson of Ridgeville was traveling on Nash Road in Berkeley County when his vehicle ran off the roadway and hit a tree. He was pronounced dead on the scene by Deputy Coroner Darnell Hartwell. 
Mr. Richardson’s death has been ruled accidental and the cause of death is blunt force body trauma. He was not wearing a seatbelt. 
The accident was investigated by the Berkeley County Coroner’s Office and the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
