St. Stephen man killed

A St. Stephen man was killed in a March 8 accident, Berkeley County Coroner Bill Salisbury reported.
According to Salisbury, 26-year-old Denvil Thompson of St. Stephen was traveling on Matilda Circle in the Pineville community of Berkeley County when his sedan ran off the left side of the roadway and overturned. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
The cause of death is head trauma and has been ruled accidental, Salisbury said. Mr. Thompson was not wearing a seat belt.
The accident was investigated by the Berkeley County Coroner’s Office and the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
