An I’On woman told police that for years her neighbor’s kids have been playing in her yard and she was tired of it. According to a police report, she told the officer she was worried something would happen to them on her property. One afternoon she saw the kids in her yard and they were kicking her bushes. She went outside and asked them three times to leave, she told the officer. When they didn’t leave, she called police. An officer responded and the kids did go home, but their father paid the neighbor a visit.
The woman told the officer that the children’s father threatened her and told her he would harass her until she moved. She said this upset her and scared her and she wanted the incident documented in case anything were to happen to her house. She did not want the officer to speak to the neighbor so the officer told her to call the police if he comes to her residence again.
