Georgia N. Barnes

Georgia Newell Barnes of Moncks Corner, wife of the late Adville C. Barnes, passed away on February 23, 2013. She was 92.
Mrs. Barnes was a retired schoolteacher. She was a member of Moncks Corner Methodist Church, Berkeley Chapter 112 Order of the Eastern Star, and the White Shrine.
Survivors include her son, Norval Barnes and his wife, Margie; a daughter, Margaret N. Duszak and her husband, Bob; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
Her funeral was held at Russell Funeral Chapel, Moncks Corner, on Feb. 26 with burial at Westview Cemetery.
