Senior volunteers needed at St. Stephen Elementary
 
If you are a senior citizen and would enjoy spending time with students at St. Stephen Elementary School, the Foster Grandparent Program may be for you. 
Senior volunteers (age 55 and older) can earn a tax-free stipend of $2.65 an hour (if income is under $1,900/month).  Senior volunteers share wisdom and experience with children who need extra attention and receive big smiles in return.

Car Show
 
The 29 annual Southern Drag Racing Association car show benefiting Camp Happy Days will be on Saturday, March 9 from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the Texas Roadhouse/K-Mart Parking Lot, 8571 Rivers Avenue in North Charleston. 
Admission is free to the family event. Donations will be accepted, and there will be prize drawings and live music. O'Reilly's Auto Parts is sponsoring the car show. You are also invited to join the SDRA members at Hooters on Friday, March 8 from 7 until 10 p.m. for a car show preview.
