Accident stalls traffic

Traffic was backed up around the Tanner Plantation area Friday afternoon as Berkeley County EMS and the Hanahan Police worked a single car accident.
The accident occurred at the intersection of Foster Creek Road and Wavers Way at about 3:45 p.m. when a car crashed into the brick neighborhood sign at Sweetgrass at Tanner Plantation.
The driver of the car did not appear to be seriously injured.
