Julie Anne McClearen and Benjamin Charles Sitton were married on Dec. 15, 2012 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Charleston. The Reverend David Hill performed the three ‘o clock p.m. ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Carol McClearen of Charleston and Bruce McClearen of Snellville, Ga. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Grube of Charleston and Betty McClearen and the late Vigril P. McClearen of Snellville, Ga.
The bride was escorted down the aisle and given away by her brother, Michael McClearen.
The bride wore an ivory taffeta and lace ball gown. Her bouquet of red roses was hand tied with satin ribbon.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Keith Sitton of Calhoun, Ga. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Ayers of Calhoun, Ga. The groom earned a BS in Business Administration at the University of Georgia.
Katherine McClearen, sister-in-law of the bride was matron of honor. Best man was Keith Sitton, father of the groom. Flower girl was Bella Peek and ring bearers were Mason and Miller Peek.
