Sorority to participate in conference
Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc. has scheduled its annual Youth Conference for Feb. 23 at Claflin University in Orangeburg. The conference begins with registration at 9:30 a.m. at the 1869 Club, with activities culminating at 4 p.m.
Sessions will focus on Creativity, Social Networking, Creating a Focus on the Future, and numerous group workshops. There will also be a tour of the college campus, and awards will be given.
The registration contribution is $50 per youth. There is a complimentary registration for one advisor and each additional advisor is $25.00.

Free Dental Screenings
Persons interested in securing a free screening for cavities (including free x-rays) and a possible free filling or two, are invited to come by the College of Dental Medicine, 29 Bee Street in Charleston, Monday through Thursday, between the hours of 5 – 7 p.m. 
They would be happy to provide assistance.
Happy Birthday
Belated birthday wishes are sent to Gloria DeVine, Chanda B. Kelly, Cindy Ragin and Hazel Crawford, who celebrated their big days during the month of January. We are also wishing Iva Deloris Jefferson, Joletta Francine Barnes and other February celebrants a joyous birthday celebration, and wish them all many more fabulous days of life.

We extend expressions of sympathy to the families of  the late Evangelist Josephine Gaillard of Pineville, SC and the late Robert Ladrus Wigfall of Las Vegas, Nevada, formerly of Pineville, SC.  We will continue to keep their families in our thoughts and prayers.
