A Moncks Corner man reported he was the victim of an armed robbery in Cross on the morning of Feb. 6.
The victim flagged down a deputy on West End Drive at about 3:15 a.m., according to a Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office report.
The victim told the deputy he was playing pool and hanging out with friends and left a local club at about 3 a.m. The victim was walking down the road when three males approached him.
The victim said two subjects grabbed him from behind and choked him as the other suspect robbed him of $500 and his cell phone, according to the report. The victim walked home after the incident.
The victim provided the deputy with names of three suspects and the name of a possible witness, according to the report. The possible witness told the victim at least one of the subjects was armed with a handgun.
The incident is under investigation.
