Charliewood Pictures adds filmmaker to production team

Charliewood Pictures, a Daniel Island-based production and investment company focused on developing, supporting, and promoting South Carolina-based films, is pleased to announce that Brad Jayne has joined the Charliewood production team. Jayne is best known to the Charleston film community as a writer, director and producer of award-winning short films and television commercials in addition to his consulting work with the South Carolina Film Commission as well as Trident Technical College.

In his role at Charliewood, as executive production advisor, he will oversee various production assignments that Charliewood currently has in its pipeline and serve as a creative advisor on future projects. Jayne, who led the team that won a 2012 Sundance Audience Award, has had his production work celebrated by major film festivals and media organizations demonstrating the quality and creativity of his product. He will continue in his efforts with Creative Forge Productions and other personal and professional projects.

Charliewood Pictures recently completed principal photography for “Warrior Road,” a full length feature film written and directed by Jayne, which is currently in post-production. Commenting on the new position, vice-president of Charliewood Pictures Cleto Augusto said, “Brad is a very talented writer, director and film technician. We were able to see that first hand with the production of “Warrior Road.” Charliewood has been receiving submissions for various new projects and Brad is a wonderful addition to assist our team in reviewing these requests as well as providing production expertise when projects are undertaken. He will also handle the outsourcing of assignments of producers and department heads for the company's film projects.”
