Robert Wheeler "Bob" Ashby of Pinopolis, a former CPA and owner of Memminger Apartments, died Wednesday morning, Jan. 2, 2013 at a Moncks Corner hospital. He was 79.
Surviving are his wife, Jean Purdie Ashby; two sons, Dr. Mark A. Ashby of Sebring, FL, and Stewart E. Ashby of Land O’ Lakes, FL; a stepson, Bobby McCormick of Fayetteville, NC; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
