Lori Cox, Laura Zagby, Blood Drop (Katie Shackleford) and Jaci Dazle at the recent blood drive.

Blood drive at THS collects 33 pints

Students and faculty donated 33 pints of blood as the American Red Cross held a blood drive at Timberland on Nov. 28 with the assistance of Health Sciences teacher Lori Cox.
Laura Zagby, American Red Cross Donor Recruitment Representative, commended Cox and THS students on doing an excellent job of getting donors signed up.
Before the day of the event, Health Science students signed up donors in the cafeteria lobby and one student dressed up as the “Blood Drop” to encourage everyone to give blood.
Congratulations on a job well done.
