Nativity scenes on display at Russellville Christian
The public is invited to attend Russellville Christian Church (Hwy. 35 in Russellville) to enjoy a display of over 150 nativity scenes. An open house to show the displays off will be held on Sunday, Dec. 16 from 2 until 5 p.m.
Russellville Christian Church members Tommy and Beth Graham provided pictures and compiled the history of how all of the members became involved with showing the nativity displays …
Over the past few years several friends from the church visited Mepkin Abbey in Moncks Corner to see the beautiful and creative nativity scenes there on display. Beginning in 2011, they decided to display a similar scene at the church for people from the area to come see and enjoy.
The members of the congregation were asked to bring their personal nativity scenes from home so that everyone could see and enjoy them. Over 100 different sets were displayed last year. Some were handmade and all were beautiful.
Making a trip to Russellville Christian Church in Russellville will be well worth the time and you will not be disappointed!
SSE Recipients of Sharing the Dream Grant

The grant is awarded on a competitive basis to assist principals in implementing innovative projects that create global classrooms where children and families can safely connect, exchange ideas and learn together.
