The Town of St. Stephen kicks off the Holiday Season Nov. 30 with their annual Christmas Night Parade
St. Stephen Elementary to receive Learning Center funds
Congratulations to the students and staff at St. Stephen Elementary School. The school has been recommended to receive funds from the South Carolina Department of Education to operate a 21st Century Community Learning Center beginning in January 2013.
The school’s administrative team wrote the four-year proposal to fund a full service after school program for their students in the amount of $577,000. The program will service identified students in first through fifth grades with academic assistance in all subject areas.
Members of the administrative team include Principal Dr. Elaine Norton, Asst. Principal James Carraway, Curriculum Facilitator Rosalind Banks, and Curriculum Coach Erica VanBeek.
