Good advice for 2013!

We recently heard some great advice: "Give some, save some, and spend some ..." (in that order)!
Try that advice for one week at a time if you've never had time to do a budget. If we each do nothing or say nothing, that's the same as saying, “This is fine with me!"

The Lebanon Fire Department is sponsoring its annual barbecue on Saturday, Jan. 19, 3:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. at the Lebanon Community Center located at 1188 Lebanon Road in the Lebanon Community.
Plates will cost $7 each (eat-in or carry-out).

Making it Grow

ETV's "Making It Grow,” usually of interest to all gardeners, featured Bubba High of Cross and Moncks Corner on Jan. 1.
Bubba showcased his garden at the old Williams Home, the former home of Mr. Jerry and Mrs. Hattie Williams, who were quite well known among older residents to citizens of the Cross Community. High has done a grand job of creating interesting spots of landscaping with boxwoods, lantana, rosemary and other herbs around the old Williams House.
