Home Telecom has received a prestigious innovation award from Calix, a national broadband communications access provider.
“I would like to congratulate HOME for providing a shining example of excellence in broadband communications,” stated John Colvin, Calix senior vice president of North America sales and marketing.
As a family-owned business for over 100 years, Home Telecom has leveraged its growing fiber network to deliver advanced broadband services to businesses and residents throughout the Charleston region to further drive economic development in the area.
"Honoring our network and new security packages with this Calix Innovation Award highlights our continued commitment to our customers,” said Home President Will Helmly.  “We are excited to bring awareness to our partnerships with area economic developers that stimulate network, business, and community advancement.”
Home Telecom’s partners with several strategic commercial and residential developers to bring the fastest, most reliable High Speed Internet, Telephone, Cable TV, Wireless, and Security services to the area were spotlighted in a video case study honoring Home Telecom.  [View here].  These partnerships were key attributes in the selection of HOME Telecom as a winner and demonstrated their commitment to the community and overall business development.
