First Citizens recently launched a trio of free mobile banking services that allows First Citizens customers to bank securely and conveniently from their mobile phone or device. First Citizens Mobile Banking, which includes Mobile Apps, Mobile Web and Text Banking, lets customers manage their personal First Citizens accounts, including loans, lines of credit, and checking and savings accounts.
“With Mobile Banking’s three mobile-based options, customers can enjoy easy, convenient and safe access to their accounts 24 hours a day. It has literally put banking at our customers’ fingertips,” said Emily Brannen, Alternate Delivery Channel Manager for First Citizens. “More than 20,000 customers have already enrolled in our Mobile Banking services, and we are excited to see adoption continue to grow.”
By enrolling through First Citizens’ Personal Online Banking, customers can use Mobile Apps, Mobile Web or Text Banking on their mobile device. Android and iPhone users can download the free First Citizens app designed specifically for smartphones, while customers who carry other browsing-enabled mobile devices can take advantage of Mobile Web banking. Mobile Apps and Mobile Web let customers check account balances, view recent transactions, transfer funds between First Citizens accounts, find branches and ATMs, and pay bills through Bill Pay.
Text Banking is also available for customers who can receive and send text messages on their mobile device. The service enables participants to request and receive account information via text message and locate nearby branches and ATMs.
