Moncks Corner woman dies in accident

A 56-year-old Moncks Corner woman died on the afternoon of Dec. 18 when the sedan she was driving collided with a truck near Cypress Gardens Road on Hwy. 52.
According to Berkeley County Coroner Bill Salisbury, Robin Schulte of Moncks Corner was pronounced dead on the scene by Deputy Coroner Kristin Demmerle. She died from head and body trauma, and the death was ruled as an accident.  
The Berkeley County Coroner’s Office and the South Carolina Highway Patrol are investigating the accident.
