Agents with the Berkeley County Drug Enforcement Unit executed a search warrant at a residence in St. Stephen on Dec. 23 and located several components used in the manufacturing of methamphetamine.
According to the BCSO, some of the items found include Sudafed pill containers, Coleman fuel, coffee filters, salt and multiple plastic jugs with various liquids and solids.
The BCSO reported that Jon Edward Sumler of Eggleston Way in St Stephen was already being held at the Hill-Finklea Detention Center on other charges when warrants for additional charges of attempt to manufacture methamphetamine and four counts of exposing a child to methamphetamine were served on him.
