Dear Editor:

The Moncks Corner Recreation Department would like to thank the Moncks Corner Lionís Club for painting the two picnic shelters and repairing the roof of one shelter. This is the type of community involvement that benefits many in our Town.
The work was done at Lacey Park and helped make the shelters look nice for family outings such as birthday parties and other events. The Lionís Club did not hesitate when asked to do this project and we appreciate the work they did. This saved time and money for our department. The swings are being replaced with new chains and a piece of playground equipment will be installed In the near future.

Ralph Jones
Recreation Director, Moncks Corner
