THS football to hit the airwaves in 2012
The St. Stephen community has only one more month to wait before the Timberland football season begins!
THS kicks off the 2012 season on Friday, Aug. 17 at Manning. All Timberland games will be aired on WTUA Power 106.1 every Friday night during football season.
The Wolves face a challenging schedule this fall, including such standout opponents as Hanahan, Berkeley, Cross and Andrews.
Watch The Independent’s sports page for more on the Wolves, including the newspaper’s popular football special section that will come out the week before the first game.
If any of our youth would be interested in signing up for community football, the application forms can be picked up at St. Stephen Town Hall. If more information is needed, call 567-3597.
Happy Birthday to Claudette Knight, Mac McGee, Doris Marion, Charlie Moody, Cheryl Rabon, Kandace Shuler, Alice Snyder and Darrel Wadford.
There are several senior friends and loved ones in the community nursing home in St. Stephen. If any of you would like to show your appreciation by visiting or mailing a card, the address for the local nursing home is:
Lake Moultrie Nursing Home, 1038 McGill Lane, St. Stephen, SC 29479
