Jamestown Baptist plans second cookbook The steel to build the new Jamestown Baptist Family Life Center has been delivered, and construction will begin as soon as possible. The church has also released its cookbook, Food for the Soul, which includes 400 recipes with a contributor list and a cookbook stand. The book is $15, with all profits going to the new Family Life Center.  The book is available at Town Hall in Jamestown, Manley Law Firm, Glamour Cuts, Dr. Pipkin’s Office, Miz Scarlett's Table, and Dr. Clouse's Office (all in Moncks Corner), Tuesdie's Salon in Summerville, and from any Jamestown Baptist Church member.  Please support the church in this endeavor. In addition, if anyone is interested in having their recipes published, the church plans to publish another 400 recipes in the same format as the current cookbook and these can be added to the current book easily, as it is published as a ring binder.   If you have any recipes you would like to see preserved, get in touch with Fay Shively, Pam Turner or Kay Lambert. Also, you can call the church at 257-4047.   Pastor’s Appreciation Wesley AME will celebrate Pastor's Appreciation on Sunday, Aug. 12 at 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. Call the church at (843) 257-4065 for more information.
