Warrior Ride a great success

  • Tuesday, May 15, 2012

Dear Editor:

Many thanks to everyone who made the recent “Warrior Ride” such an overwhelming success! I would like to especially thank Moncks Corner Mayor William Peagler, town administrator Marc Hehn, and MCPD Chief Chad Caldwell along with his officers for making this event such a success and safe for all. The event would not have been possible without the many contributions and participants within the Moncks Corner area.
To see the faces of our youth at the schools we visited was by far the most inspiring event I have had the privilege of being a part of. Our city officials stepped up and made our town shine.
The Wounded Warriors that attended the ride told me how wonderful everyone in the Moncks Corner area made them feel. They went on to say everyone should be proud that they are from Moncks Corner!
I have informed the ride’s founders Bob and Debra Racine that I would be proud to host the event in our community next year. I would appreciate any comments or suggestions that you may have that will make next year’s second annual Warrior Ride an even bigger event!
