Through April 30, H&R Block offices in Moncks Corner and St. Stephen will offer taxpayers free reviews of their 2008 – 2011 income tax returns not prepared by H&R Block, the company announced. This review is designed to ensure taxpayers received the maximum legal refund possible and to help them recover any hard-earned money that might have been left on the table.
Unfortunately, not all tax returns are prepared accurately and some mistakes can lead to overpayment. H&R Block’s Second Look provides a professional review of the original tax return and advice on what to do if variances are found.
“People want to be sure their income tax returns were prepared correctly,” said Shirley Polk, manager at H&R Block. “They don’t want any problems with IRS or the state tax authorities. We will assure them they receive all the exemptions, deductions and credits they are legally entitled to.”
