Trident Technical College has selected seven students, including two from Moncks Corner, to represent the college as student ambassadors for the 2013-2014 academic year.
The students will assist the school’s recruiting department by giving campus tours, making presentations to prospective students, visiting high schools, and helping with special events. The new student ambassadors are Japhet Rivera and Joseph Taylor of Moncks Corner, Joy Springfield of Summerville, and Renata Klimova, Erica Morris, Martha Robbins and Tiffany Vasquez of Charleston.
Wolletta Benson, Botlhale Johnson and Terrance White are returning student ambassadors.
Ambassadors offer prospective students information from a student’s viewpoint and must meet certain qualifications to represent the college. The selection process included meeting academic criteria, submitting an application with an essay and undergoing an interview process.
