Mario A. Gethers, CFSP of Moncks Corner is one of 50 funeral professionals nationwide selected to attend an upcoming program in Atlanta.
The National Funeral Directors Association announced the names of the 50 funeral professionals who will have an opportunity to learn from three leading funeral directors and network with like-minded peers during the association’s fourth Meet the Mentors program March 18-19 at Emory University in Atlanta. Meet the Mentors is being held in cooperation with the Funeral Service Foundation.
Gethers, of Gethers Funeral Home Inc. in Moncks Corner, is a licensed funeral director and second vice president at the funeral home. He is the son of Mattie A. Gethers and the late Rev. O.A. Gethers Jr., the founder of Gethers Funeral Home.
NFDA-member licensed funeral directors and embalmers under age 40 had an opportunity to enter the drawing for a chance to participate in this exclusive program.
