The Summerville Journal Scene is published twice a week. Wednesday's paper goes to 17,500 households in Dorchester County, both on the ground and by subscription, while the Friday edition is available by subscription for $28 per year ($43 for out of state). The Gazette is freely distributed every Thursday to more than 11,000 locations around the Cities of Goose Creek and Hanahan.
The Berkeley Independent also serves Berkeley County, primarily the county seat of Moncks Corner and the surrounding communities. It is available by subscription each Wednesday for $22 per year ($32 for 2 years with a senior rate of $18 or $29 for 2 years).
