An alligator bite at Cypress Gardens Monday sent a female walker to the hospital, and the S.C. Department of Natural Resources will release a report tomorrow with details of the incident.
According to the Berkeley County Sheriff's Office, the incident occurred at just after 1 p.m. Monday afternoon. DNR wildlife agents were called to the scene.
According to reports, the woman and her husband were walking on one of Cypress Gardens' trails when the incident took place; the alligator involved in the attack was not located on Monday.
