Community prayer meeting set for Nov. 18
Hood's Chapel UM Church will be hosting the Quarterly Prayer Meeting and Thanksgiving Social on Thursday, Nov. 18 at 7 p.m.
This is a time when everyone from the different community churches can join in prayer and fellowship.
 
Fundraiser
Memorial T-shirts and window decals are being sold to raise money to help the family of John Ray Fisher, a Timberland High School Senior who died on Oct. 5.
All proceeds will go toward funeral expenses.
The window decals are $5.00 each and the T-shirts are $15 each, sizes range from small to 2XL.

MCAP
The Macedonia Community Action Project will be having its first ever Christmas Tree Lighting at the Macedonia Fire Department on Saturday, Dec. 5 at 5 p.m. Everyone in the community is invited.
 
Fall Banquet
 
The ladies at Providence Baptist Church will be having their fall banquet on Saturday, Nov. 21 at 6 p.m. Special guests will be Kristi Mitchum and Amy Campbell.
There will be door prizes, raffles and a delicious meal. Babysitting will be provided. Tickets are $13; call the church at 565-3945 for more information.
