William David Jefferson and Lucy Lloyd Jefferson from the Old Field section of St. Stephen will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary on Nov. 12. Their children and grandchildren will give them a wedding dedication service and reception on Saturday, at Day Dawn Baptist Community Center in Pineville at 3 p.m. The Jeffersons were married on Nov. 12, 1944 in Pineville. They were founding members of Calvary R.E. Church in St. Stephen, and have 10 children, 18 grandchildren, and 31 great-grandchildren. Mr. Jefferson retired from Georgia Pacific after 20 years of service, and Mrs. Jefferson retired from knitwear.
