Eva Louise Philips Stephen Garcia of Moncks Corner, died Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2010. She was 82.

Mrs. Garcia was born Dec. 24, 1927, in Oolitic, IN, a daughter of Ed Phillips and Maude Evans Philips. She was the wife of the late Max M. Stephen.
Surviving are three daughters, Nikka King of Moncks Corner, Pamela Swanson of Zillah, WA, and Tiffany Rucker of Lakewood, CO; a son, Douglas Stephen of Wichita, KA; a sister, Evelynn Hummer of Summitville, IN; a brother, Dale Philips of Ridgeville, IN; nine grandchildren, William King Jr., Trevor S. King, Jeremy King, James Watters III, Robin Johnson, Jacquelyn Rucker, Tristan Rucker, Karissa Rucker and Jessica Kuhn; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
